Invite friends

Share your link. When a friend signs up through it and makes their first top-up of the minimum or more, you both get the same credit. The gift and the minimum are on your Share page (for example: "Give $5, get $5" when your friend adds $10 or more).

How it works

  1. Share your link. Open the Share page and copy your link, or share a savings card from your dashboard. Both count.
  2. Your friend adds credit. They sign up through your link and add the minimum or more on their Credits page.
  3. You both get the gift. It lands in both balances within a few minutes of their payment, and you both get an email.

The rules

  • Nothing at sign-up. New accounts start at $0. The gift arrives only with your friend's first top-up of the minimum or more, within 60 days of signing up. Smaller top-ups don't count toward it.
  • The same gift for both of you: the amount shown on your Share page when the gift is paid.
  • Taken back on a refund. If the payment that brought the gift is refunded or charged back, both gifts are taken back (whatever is still unspent).
  • One gift per new account. A friend can be invited only once, and only a new account counts.
  • Sellers' accounts don't qualify, and neither do two accounts used from the same internet connection.
  • There are limits. One account can earn a limited number of gifts in 30 days (past it, your friend still gets theirs). On a very busy day a gift can arrive the next day.
  • Your link lasts 30 days in your friend's browser. If they open more than one invite link, the latest one counts. A savings card never replaces a link they already opened.
  • Gift credit is spent like any other credit, on any model.

When your Share page shows no gift, invites are still counted under Invited. If gifts are turned on within 60 days of your friend signing up, their first top-up of the minimum or more still pays them.

Where to see it

Your Share page shows:

  • Invited: people who signed up through your link.
  • Friends who paid: of them, the ones whose first top-up paid the gift.
  • You earned: the credit you got from invites.
  • A list of every gift: "A friend added credit", "Your invite gift", or "Taken back (refund)".

If someone invited you, your Credits page shows your own gift until your first top-up of the minimum or more brings it.
