One API key for all LLMs: stop juggling provider accounts
A single API key for every LLM means one account, one base URL and one balance in front of GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, GLM, Qwen, Llama, Mistral and Kimi. With UberLLM you switch models by changing the model id string, and every request is routed to the cheapest healthy seller for that model with UberLLM’s 10% fee already in the price.
The problem with one key per provider
Ship anything real and you end up with an OpenAI account, an Anthropic account, a Google Cloud project, a DeepSeek key — each with its own billing, its own SDK quirks, its own rate limits, and its own outage. Comparing two models means two integrations. Switching providers means a rewrite.
A single gateway key removes all of that. You hold one OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible key, point your SDK’s base URL at UberLLM, and reach every model in the catalog. Each request is routed to the cheapest healthy seller for the model you asked for, and the price on the live board includes UberLLM’s 10% fee. One balance, pay as you go, no monthly fee or minimum.
One key, every model
from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI(base_url="https://api.uberllm.dev/v1", api_key="ull_your_key_here")
# Same client, same key — the model id is the only thing that changes.
for model in ["openai/gpt-5.1-mini", "anthropic/claude-haiku", "deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash"]:
r = client.chat.completions.create(
model=model,
messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "One sentence on why the sky is blue."}],
)
print(model, "→", r.choices[0].message.content)
Model ids follow the familiar provider/model form — find them on /models. Anthropic-style clients call the same host at /v1/messages; see the Anthropic SDK doc.
What one key gets you
- Compare models honestly. Run the same prompt across GPT, Claude and an open-weight model with a loop, not three integrations.
- Switch without a migration. Change the model id when a cheaper or newer model wins; nothing else moves.
- One bill, scoped keys. Keep one balance. Mint scoped, revocable keys per app or environment — keys & security.
- Automatic failover. If a seller goes down mid-request (before output), the call is retried on the next healthy one, and failures cost $0.
